I currently offer Primary to Premier level Highland Dance lessons for both competitive and recreational dancers in my basement studio located in Lehi, Utah. My primary/young beginner lessons are between 30-45 minutes depending on the age and skill of the dancer. My older beginner through premier lessons are one hour. Please contact me directly to register for classes.
Tuition:
Primary dancers: $8/30 mins
Beginner-Premier: $16/hour

Mondays (excluding holidays)
Novice/Intermediates: 1:30-2:30 pm
Beginners: 3:30-4:30 pm
Novice: 4:30-5:30 pm
Wednesdays (excluding holidays)
Primary: 10:00-10:30 am
Intermediate: 4:00-5:00 pm
Beginner: 5:00-5:30 pm
*Class times subject to change depending on available space and dance experience upon registration.

Primary Classes: Students will begin by learning basic Highland Dance positions, and movements, and progress to learning the Highland Fling and Sword Dance. Proper technique and timing will be emphasized.
Beginner Classes: Students will continue to fine-tune proper Highland technique, learning and building on the basics. Additional dances and movements are taught at this level.
Novice Classes: Continuing to build on basics, students will be expected to learn and perform at a higher level. Student's portfolios will be expanded by learning more dances.
Intermediate Classes: A class for more experienced dancers who are looking to prepare for the highest level of competition. Advanced techniques, movements and steps are taught and enforced.
Premier Classes: The Advanced dancers only.

As well as being involved in competitive dance competitions (optional), Dancers will also have opportunities to dance at local shows, and different events throughout the year with the Utah Pipe Band.
